FAQ

01.

What is an elopement?

Why should we book you, when we can do everything ourselves?

An elopement is so much more than a non-beautiful, non-adventurous quick sign of a piece of paper. It's a common misconception that elopements take zero planning. Think accommodation, location scouting, vendor communication, flower arrangements, sunset times, a beautiful dinner table...Just because you are getting married with only a handful of people, doesn't mean you have to skip on all things unique and beautiful.

An elopement is an intentionally small wedding. Once upon a time people would escape their families and secretively marry the love of their life. Nowadays people elope to have a different wedding, without the stress, without the weird dynamics and without the same venue settings you have seen a 100 times before. This day is about you and how your dream elopement looks like.

How many days in advance do we need to book our elopement?

When will we receive our images?

Because we take great pride in delivering you only the most epic florals and styling, a safe bet would be to plan at least one month ahead of time.

Your photographer will give you a preview of 5 -10 photos within 5 days after your wedding. 4 - 6 weeks after your wedding you will receive all your high resolution images in an online gallery.

Is it really as stress-free as it sounds?

Will you be able to recommend us locations?

Yes it is! After you have booked your accommodation, we start putting plans into motion. We take care of the most important wedding vendors, create a styling board, arrange a time line, bring in the props and coordinate the elements of your elopement.

Yes we do! Having travelled for weddings to both the West and East coast of New Zealand, we have the advantage of local knowledge and will be able to help you choose your dream beach location. We will do all the research for you, from the cute boutique lodging to the best beachside locations.

Do you offer your services at mountainous locations as well?

How many people can I invite for my elopement?

Heck yeah! Although we are never far from the ocean, we have some incredible mountain settings not far from Auckland. We are nature lovers at heart, and will do anything to make your dream elopement come to live.

We like to keep things small and intimate, and style for a maximum of 16 people. We find that with having more people at your elopement it becomes increasingly harder to keep things about the two of you, not of your guests.
